J2587
Welcome to the official website of J2587, an independent mobile game developer based in Argentina. This website showcases original mobile games and documents the creative and technical process behind their development.
The purpose of this site is to provide meaningful information for players and visitors interested in simple but engaging mobile game experiences. Rather than acting only as a link hub, this website explains design decisions, gameplay mechanics, and development goals.
All projects prioritize performance, accessibility, and compatibility with a wide range of devices, including low-end or older smartphones.
Below is a selection of original mobile games developed by J2587.
Hair Clipper
A casual mobile game designed to simulate the experience of using an electric hair clipper. The game focuses on sound feedback, vibration, and straightforward interaction.
Treadmil Finger
An anti-stress mobile game designed for relaxation and repetitive interaction. The experience focuses on calming input, consistency, and maintaining control.
BEWARE OF THE CROCODILE
A tension-driven game inspired by physical reaction toys, centered on anticipation and suspense.
Ghostly Maze
A suspense-based mobile game where you must guide a ghost through a narrow path without touching the edges. Precision and focus are essential, as a sudden scare awaits players at the end of the maze.
I am a solo mobile game developer who learned game creation through online courses, documentation, and hands-on experimentation.
I draw inspiration from other applications, everyday digital interactions, and internet culture. I enjoy memes and playful concepts, which often influence my approach to simplicity and clarity.
As a solo developer, I manage all aspects of development, including programming, testing, optimization, and publishing.
Simple mobile games are often the most accessible. By reducing complexity, players can focus on interaction and feedback rather than instructions.
Optimizing for low-end hardware improves accessibility and ensures a smoother experience for a wider audience.
Most of my mobile games are created with a game engine called Construct 3. It allows me to transform ideas into playable prototypes very quickly and helps me focus on gameplay, performance, and accessibility.
One of the most common questions people ask is how long it takes to create a game. The answer is not always the same. Some projects are small experiments designed to test a mechanic or a joke. In those cases, a game can sometimes be finished in just one day.
However, other games are more ambitious. They require better balancing, visual improvements, bug fixing, sound adjustments, and optimization for different screen sizes and devices. Those projects can take weeks or even months to complete.
Working as a solo developer means I am responsible for programming, design, testing, and publishing. Every stage takes time, especially quality assurance. Even simple games may hide unexpected technical challenges.
Despite the difficulties, I enjoy the process a lot. Seeing an idea evolve from a quick concept into a finished product available for players around the world is one of the most rewarding parts of independent development.
